New Jersey native Brother Hahz (Hassan McMillan) has seen more than the average artist by touring the country and performing in Europe with Queen Latifah, Naughty by Nature, The Fugees and Jay-Z to name a few. A seasoned artist with many years of experience, he spent time working and performing with Rocafella Records after making a strong impression on label founders Damon Dash and Jay-Z. A few years later he relocated to Florida to help build the foundation of light heavyweight champion Roy Jones Jr.’s record label, Bodyhead Entertainment. Confronted with many disappointments and setbacks, Hahz returned home some years later with the intentions of redefining himself. His purpose manifested itself – In 2003 he was shot in the chest and escaped death by two-inches
His narrow escape from death and the birth of his daughter was the catalyst for a directional shift in his career. In the Spring of 2004, he committed his life to Christ resulting in a dynamic anointing on his musical gift.
