Samaritan’s Purse is rushing aid to victims of a catastrophic, 7.8-magnitude earthquake that devastated Nepal on Saturday.
The deadly earthquake has killed more than 4,200 people, and the death toll is expected to rise as officials dig through the rubble. More than 7,000 were injured. Tens of thousands are homeless.
“We’re doing all we can to help those whose lives have been turned upside down by this terrible disaster,” Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham said. “The people of Nepal urgently need our prayers.”
Samaritan’s Purse is sending disaster response teams, medical personnel, and emergency aid to Nepal. Hundreds of tons of emergency relief supplies are on the way. We will help victims with shelter, water, blankets, medical care, and other urgent needs.
