As of March 30, 2015 DCA has distributed nearly 2 million educational materials to inform employers about their responsibilities and employees about their rights under the Paid Sick Leave law, hosted over 829 events and training sessions for employers and employees, responded to over 8,347 direct inquiries and received 472 complaints.
Information, including the required Notice of Employee Rights and one page overview for employers and employees, are available in 25 additional languages. Also, the Intake Form – Sick Leave Complaint, Rules for Sick Leave Policies, Employee Verification Regarding Authorized Use of Earned Sick Leave form, Employee Notification of Intention to Use Earned Sick Leave form, Employee Request to Make up Missed Work as Alternative to Using Earned Sick Leave form, and DCA Training Presentation are available in select languages.
