Abraham was called by Yahweh (GOD) to leave his father Terah&#8217;s house and native land of Chaldea for a new land, family, and inheritance in Canaan, the Promised Land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yahweh made a Covenant with Abraham by which he would have to walk in the Commandments of the Lord and GOD would bless him with numerous descendants from his seed and numerous spiritual descendants from among the Gentile nations. Arphaxad was the father of <strong>Shalah<\/strong>. Shalah was the father of <strong>Eber<\/strong>. Eber<strong> <\/strong>was the father of <strong>Peleg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peleg was the father of <strong>Reu<\/strong>. Reu was the father <strong>Serug<\/strong>. Serug was the father of <strong>Nahor<\/strong>. Nahor was the father of <strong>Terah<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Terah<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Terah was the father of <strong>Nahor<\/strong>, <strong>Abram (Abraham)<\/strong>, and <strong>Haran<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Haran<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Haran was the father of <strong>Lot<\/strong>. Lot was the father of <strong>Moab <\/strong>and <strong>Ammon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nahor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nahor married Milcah and they were the parents of Huz, Buz, Kemuel, Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph and <strong>Bethuel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bethuel was the father<\/strong> of <strong>Rebekah <\/strong>and <strong>Laban<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Abraham and Keturah<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abraham married <strong>Keturah<\/strong>, <strong>Sarah<\/strong>, and had children with the Egyptian slave <strong>Hagar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abraham and Keturah&#8217;s children were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Abraham and Hagar (Egyptian Slave)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abraham and Hara&#8217;s gave birth to <strong>Ishamel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ishmael&#8217;s sons were Nebajoth, Abdeel, Mishma, Massa, Tema, Naphish, Kedar, Mibsam, Dumah, Hadar, Kedemah, and Jetur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ishmael&#8217;s daughter was Mahalath (Basemath)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Abraham and Sarah<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abraham and Sarah gave birth to <strong>Isaac<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Isaac married Rebekah (Bethuel&#8217;s daughter)<\/strong>. Isaac and Rebekah gave birth to <strong>Esau <\/strong>and <strong>Jacob<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Esau<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Esau married Ishmael&#8217;s daughter Mahalath (Basemath)<\/strong>, <strong>Adah <\/strong>(Hittite) and <strong>Aholibamah <\/strong>(Hivite).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esau and Mahalath (Basemath) gave birth to <strong>Reuel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reuel fathered Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah (Edomite Chiefs.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esau and Adah gave birth to <strong>Eliphaz<\/strong>. Eliphaz fathered Amalek (with concubine Timnah). Eliphaz also fathered Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jacob (Israel)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Leah <\/strong>(Laban&#8217;s older daughter) and <strong>Jacob <\/strong>were the parents of <strong>Reuben<\/strong>, <strong>Simeon<\/strong>, <strong>Levi<\/strong>, <strong>Judah<\/strong>, <strong>Issachar<\/strong>, and <strong>Zebulun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Zilpha <\/strong>(Leah&#8217;s servant) and <strong>Jacob <\/strong>were the parents of <strong>Gad <\/strong>and <strong>Asher<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rachel (Laban&#8217;s younger daughter) <\/strong>and Jacob were the parents of <strong>Benjamin <\/strong>and <strong>Joseph<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joseph and Asenath (daughter priest of On) were the parents of Manasseh and Ephraim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">B<strong>ilhah (Rachael&#8217;s servant) <\/strong>and <strong>Jacob<\/strong> were the parents of <strong>Dan <\/strong>and <strong>Naphtali<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jacob&#8217;s (Israel&#8217;s) Sons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In total, Jacob had 12 son&#8217;s (in order of birth): Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin.
