Set aside time each day for prayer. Speak with God as if He’s standing in front of you. In prayer you deepen your connection with the Lord. Prayer is connecting with God. Remember, God answers all questions asked in prayer. The answer may not come at the time or the way you expect it, but it comes.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

HUMBLE YOURSELF<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"pray26_300x300\"<\/a>Let go of all pride, etc. Humble yourself… If you’re physically capable, get on your knees (He is worthy of it).<\/p>\n

“Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”<\/span> (Matthew 18:4)<\/span> “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” (James 4:10)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Know that you are in the presence of God and the presence of God is within you. Let go of your concerns and know that all is well.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

PRAY FOR OTHERS<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you”<\/span>. (Matthew 5:44) <\/span><\/p>\n

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.<\/span><\/p>\n

“But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them” (Matthew 6:5-6) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

GIVE THANKS<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Let gratitude be your heart’s joyous response in your communion with God and with God’s grace. Give thanks for blessings received and blessings to come.<\/p>\n

PRAISE GOD<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”<\/span>(Hebrews 13:15)<\/span> “And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud Him, all ye people.” <\/span>(Romans 15:11)<\/span><\/p>\n

ASK GOD OF YOUR NEEDS<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

“For your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him”. <\/span>(Matthew 6:8)<\/span> “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” <\/span>(Matthew 7:7-8)<\/span><\/p>\n
