A son of Jabesh, who slew Zechariah, son of Jeroboam II. He became King of Israel for one month just before the near extinction of the nation, and was slain by Menahem, son of Gadi <span style=\"color: #333399;\">(2 Kings 15:10-15).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>2<\/strong><\/span>. A son of Tikvah and husband of Huldah the prophetess in the days of Josiah<span style=\"color: #333399;\"> (2 Kings 22:14; 2 Chron. 34:22).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>3<\/strong><\/span>. A son of Sisamai and father of Jakaniah, also a descendant of Judah <span style=\"color: #333399;\">(1 Chron. 2:40-41).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>4<\/strong><\/span>. The fourth son of king Josiah<span style=\"color: #333399;\"> (1 Chron. 3:15).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>5<\/strong><\/span>. Grandson of Simeon, second son of Jacob and a descendant of Shaul<span style=\"color: #333399;\"> (1 Chron. 4:25).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>6<\/strong><\/span>. The father of Hilkiah, a member of the high priestly family of Zadok and an ancestor of Ezra (1 Chron. 6:12-13;Ezra 7:2). Called Meshullam in 1 Chronicles 9:11.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>7<\/strong><\/span>. The fourth son of Naphtali, the second son of Bilhah, Rachel&#8217;s handmaid<span style=\"color: #333399;\"> (1 Chron. 7:13)<\/span>. Called Shillem in Genesis 46:24.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>8<\/strong><\/span>. A son of Kore, a Korhite and chief porter at the sanctuary<span style=\"color: #333399;\"> (1 Chron. 9:17-31; Ezra 2:42; Neh. 7:45)<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>9<\/strong><\/span>. The father of Jehizkiah who opposed the reduction of Jewish captives to slaves (<span style=\"color: #333399;\">2 Chron. 28:12).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>10<\/strong><\/span>. A Tabernacle gatekeeper whose foreign wife was put away<span style=\"color: #333399;\"> (Ezra 10:24).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>11<\/strong><\/span>. One of the sons of Bani who also had taken a foreign wife <span style=\"color: #333399;\">(Ezra 10:42).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>12<\/strong><\/span>. A son of Halohesh, ruler of the half of Jerusalem, who with his daughters assisted in the repair of the wall <span style=\"color: #333399;\">(Neh. 3:12)<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>13<\/strong><\/span>. A son of Col-hozeh, ruler of part of Mizpah, who repaired the gate of the fountain (Neh. 3:15).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>14<\/strong><\/span>. The father of Hanameel, uncle to the prophet Jeremiah<span style=\"color: #333399;\"> (Jer. 32:7-8).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>15<\/strong><\/span>.
