Wednesday’s Child: Meet Ebony

Each Wednesday evening (and again on Sunday mornings), a child in foster care who is waiting for a loving adoptive home is profiled during the news on WNBC 4. Meet this week’s child:

Ebony is a shy, but motivated teenager who has a lot of love to share. A responsible mom, Ebony always makes sure her son is her top priority. Her favorite activity is reading to her son. In her spare time, she enjoys writing poetry, listening to gospel music, and watching movies.

Currently a sophomore in high school, Ebony’s favorite subject in school is math. A caring and dedicated teen, Ebony enjoys interacting with her teachers and completing class assignments on time. After graduation, she would like to pursue a career in law enforcement or nursing.
