The 111th Precinct serves a primarily residential population who reside in mainly one and two family homes, condominiums or garden apartments situated among six definable neighborhoods, Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck, Auburndale, Hollis Hills, and Fresh Meadows. Besides the resident population, the precinct provides service to the many commuters who pass through the command.
