Harlem Commonwealth Council is an economic development corporation determined to bring economic prosperity to Upper Manhattan, Washington Heights, and Bronx residents.
In these areas, we offer practical, innovative ways for people to lift themselves out of poverty by providing resources for budding entrepreneurs and business owners, academic enrichment and mentorship for youth and adults, and skills training for all community residents.
Do you want to learn to speak English? If you answered, “yes”, then our classes are for you. Learn English as a second language for free. We have day and evening classes. All classes meet for 12 weeks. Individual class sizes for all levels of English. Beginner Levels 0 – 2 and Intermediate/Advanced Levels. All languages are welcome!
