Place Category: Library
We serve the many people who work and live in our neighborhood by providing books, audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs. We are located on the northwest corner of Lexington Avenue and 50th Street, below street level at the entrance to the 6 train.
The Terence Cardinal Cooke-Cathedral Branch began as part of the New York Archdiocese’s Cathedral Library Association in 1887. It is now one of the most compact branches of The New York Public Library.
We offer e-book downloading one-on-one instruction sessions so that patrons can download e-books or audiobooks to their Apple portable device, Kindle Fire, or Nook. Please call or visit the branch to schedule a session with one of our library services professionals.
