Always leave a job on a good note. Don’t burn any bridges! Therefore, if you leave your place of employment always write a Letter of Resignation. When writing your Resignation Letter, be discreet, show maturity, and be polite. In the future you may need a favor or Recommendation Letter from the said employer.
Your resignation letter should be brief and include the reason you are resigning, your acceptance of another position (if applicable), and appreciation for the job that you are leaving. Remember, always give at least 2 weeks notice before resigning from a job.
