Most of the work that we do here at Fortune is with individuals who are coming home from being incarcerated. The pain and harm that comes from incarceration requires plenty of work from the individual — and from their families as well — once they are out.
With an ATI program, we can help prevent further destruction from emerging for our clients. While state, city, and local leaders have called for modifications in the criminal justice system, we continue to have dialogues on reform and to make sure that services are provided for those who are at risk for incarceration.
Data shows that ATI programs are significantly less costly than the expense of incarceration per individual. And they have a lower recidivism rate that leads to success in lowering crime rates. This is largely due to the structure of our community-based program that provides education, training, counseling, drug and alcohol treatment, parenting services, housing, and tools that are essential to our clients leading crime-free lives.
