It’s no longer the world’s tallest skyscraper, but the classic Art Deco architecture and rich history makes the 102-story Empire State Building a must for tourists to see. Built in 1931, the 1,454 foot tall building has two observatories – an exterior observatory on the 86th floor and an interior one on the 102nd floor – from which observers can see up to 80 miles away on a clear day.
