User Points

User Points are Points that members earn as a reward for their activity on this website. Members can then exchange their points for an item from the website's online store (click the "Gift Shop" link at the top of the website). Upon registering at this website, members are automatically awarded 200 User Points. Below is more information on ways to obtain and use your User Points. Click here if you have any questions or concerns.

VIEWING/ACCESSING THE USER POINTS
Your User Point amount is displayed on the top of the website. If it is not displayed then you are not logged-in. To access the User Point options simply click the Points link. To view the Point amount of another member simply go to their Profile page.

PLAYING THE GAMES
Everytime a member beat the highscore of a respective game in the Games section of the website they obtain Points.

POSTING MESSAGES
When a member post a new Topic or Reply to a posted topic in the Forum section of the website they will obtain Points. You will earn more User Points when you start a new Topic than you will when you Reply to one.

ROBBING MEMBERS
Members can rob other members of their User Points. To rob a member of his/her Points click the Points link at the top of the website then select Robbery.

Robberies are successful only half the time... If your robbery attempt fail, you will lose a small percentage of your Points. You cannot rob members of Points that are inside of the Bank.

THE BANK
It's a good idea to place most of your User Points inside of the website's Bank. Points that are placed inside of the Bank cannot be robbed by other members. To access the Bank, click the Points link at the top of the website then select Bank.

THE LOTTERY
User Points can also be obtained by winning the Lottery. To purchase a Lottery Ticket with your User Points click the Points link at the top of the website then select Lottery. The Lotto Drawing is completed every Friday around 11:00am.

DONATIONS
Members can donate User Points to other members. To donate Points, go to the Profile page of the member you are donating to then click the Donate link (located next to their User Points amount).

Another option is to click the Points link at the top of the website then click the Transfer tab.

EXCHANGE YOUR POINTS FOR AN ITEM
Members can exchange their User Points for an item in the UrbanAreas.net Gift Shop.

To exchange your Points for an item, purchase your item from the Gift Shop, then send a Private Message (PM) to Keith informing him of your purchase. He will then forward you a link to use to select the size, color, etc. of your item. Items purchased with User Points are generally shipped at the end of the respective month.

RAN OUT OF USER POINTS
If you ran out of User Points (0 Points) send a Private Message (PM) to Keith. He will then provide you with a few Points.

To ensure that you don't run out of Points and/or that you are not robbed of all of your Points, place some of your User Points in the Bank. Also, use the options listed on this page to earn more Points. To access the Bank, click the Points link at the top of the website then select Bank.

ADDING IMAGES TO THE PHOTO GALLERY
Members earn User Points by posting pictures in the website's Photo Gallery.

Members also earn Points when there is a Photo Contest. In a Photo Contest members upload images to the Photo Gallery... After a specified period of time concludes, the member that uploaded the picture that obtains the most Ratings will be selected as the winner.

If you purchased an item from the Gift Shop with your User Points send a Private Message to Keith for further instructions.
