The Bronx (Places To Go, Visit, History, Etc.)

The Bronx is one of the five boroughs that make-up New York City and is the only borough that is not on an island. The Bronx is referred to, colloquially and legally as "The Bronx". Located northeast of Manhattan, the Bronx was estimated to have a population of 1,373,659 residents on July 1, 2007 by the US Census Bureau. It ranks 4th of the 5 boroughs in population and area, and 3rd in density.

The Bronx is the only borough in New York City that is attached to the North American mainlands (Staten Island and Manhattan are islands and Queens and Brookly are part of Long Island). Full of exciting and historical places to visit, the Bronx has over 60 historical districts and landmarks. We're home to the world famous Yankee Stadium, the Bronx Museum of Arts, the Bronx Zoo, Fordham Road, Pelham Bay Park, and much, much more!
